Some pictures from our 2008 Veterans Day Programs.

The morning's formal program was conducted by Bob Steelman, Post Commander. Assisting were members of the Post Committee and House Council, the Sons of the American Legion, and the Ladies Auxiliary. The band, Helen Fort Performance Plus, led by Mr. Tom Carnvale, performed magnificently!

The afternoon indoor program's guest speaker was Mr. Joe Tomaselli of the Department Veterans Affairs, who spoke about programs and benefits available to all Veterans. Our very special guests included members of Alpha and Charlie Companies of the 404th Civil Affairs, recently returned from Iraq. Food and beverages were provided to everyone.

We also celebrated A Veterans Day Ceremony at the Pemberton Township School District's Marcus Newcomb School on 10 November, 2008 by the school's students and teachers. Officiating were Conchita Harris, Commander of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 10065, and Bob Steelman, Commander, American Legion Post 294. The Pemberton Junior ROTC provided the Color Guard.
